Jan 2013 - Elder Nelson & Elder Griffin

Elder Nelson is from American Fork.  These two went to High School together and didn't know each other then.  Small world!  Andrew was Elder Nelson's last companion.

Taxi / Bike Accident

Andrew was in an accident about a week ago.  A taxi hit him as he was riding his bike across the street in a crosswalk.  It knocked him over and he caught himself with his hand.  He went to the hospital and no broken bones, just put his arm in a sling for about a week.  His bike was fine too.  All of which is a testimony to all of us that Christ and His angels are watching out for him.  It was a miracle.  After he was hit he got up and handed the taxi driver a pass it along card!  That's a real missionary!

The French Quarter

This is me with all my rain garb on. It rains so much here! Also, this is supposed to be the hottest hot sauce in the world. We were at the French Market. It's called the Pepper Place. It has the ghost chili pepper in it. I had as much as it shows in my picture and my face was vibrating. The last picture was Elder Vaughn and I right next to the Mississippi River outside of the French Quarter.

September 10, 2012 MTC

Here are a bunch of pictures that we have taken over the past couple of weeks. It's been a blast for sure. But I am so ready to go out into the field and start teaching.
The first couple of pictures were of my district. We had some fun times with our lightsaber pens. The next one is of me studying my scriptures during class time.
I found some broken glasses and wore those the whole day. The next one is of our district waiting for the devotional that night. As you can see we were pretty dang
early.Elder Willden striking a pose during one of our many language studies. We have a room full of pillows in every building and we found it and dove into all of those
pillows. A hand drawn picture of our district. All of our district outside of the temple. All of us outside of the temple for our temple walk in our suits.

The MTC really has been a powerful experience. You can learn sooo much if you allow the Spirit to penetrate your heart, and make it meaningful. It has been a wonderful
time hear. The Spirit is such a powerful source that we can have during our lives and is definitely a gift. I love my Savior and I love God. I am looking to be the best person I can be
and have the best 2 years.
hope it works
